First the crap-show that was my course enrollment - why is it that an issue that was identified three months ago cannot be resolved in time for class enrollments? Despite having brought up the issue with administration and assured that the conflicts would be resolved come enrollment period, we are still forced to attempt to resolve the problems ourselves, within a rapidly shortening three day window?
Second, oh second. For the last two weeks, we have had one-day snow storms, and there has been fairly sufficient warning for those two storms, with regard to white-out conditions, flash freezing, and dangerous driving conditions. Today, to my surprise, though there were no such serious warnings, a substantial snowfall began mid-afternoon, resulting in seriously slippery conditions on the highways in Toronto. The net result? Cars being unable to make it up inclines, and me being stuck in a Go bus for three hours on the DVP. THREE HOURS. With a bus driver that was, in the opinion the the majority of the bus, really was not qualified to make the trip. Mostly, I just wanted to get the fuck home. What a shittastic day.
