Just got back from the mall and I finally have my first "little black dress"! ...and then also, a another, purple dress - but this one's for the Christmas party, and they were half price! Two dresses for $50! Plus two pairs of shoes, gold round toe kitten heels, and brown tweed round toe flats. I've been looking for some nice flats, and I hate how round toe always makes my feet look huge, but this pair works. Now if only that black wool knee length coat was in my size at Dynamite...

This is why I carry a camera around with me at all times. Well, one of several reasons. But seriously - hawk. Eating squirrel mind you, but we have a lot of squirrels on campus. Birds of prey need to eat - it's all the circle of life. And makes for a great photo op.

It's getting colder and colder in Waterloo, and I'm bitterly regretting the fact that, after losing one glove at the end of winter last year, I didn't buy replacements. Now I have no gloves - which makes carrying an umbrella in the rain rather uncomfortable. I'm counting down the days until finals, when I won't have to leave my room except to write three hour exams.
