Ugh I need to take a break from reading - I wish I could take a nap, but I've got a workshop to go to in 50 minutes. Damn severe thunderstorm watch; it was 20 degrees out earlier! That's the nicest it has been since I got to Waterloo.

I baked
Coffee Pecan Muffins today in the hour I had between classes! I just felt like baking, so I did. They turned out really nicely, great flavour, although they dried out really quickly. They really have to be eaten fresh. But I definitely love being able to bake randomly at rez. Although I'm always borrowing ingredients from other people, because I own next to nothing myself.

So I meant to make a new layout all summer, but I just couldn't find any motivation or inspiration. Of course, in the two hours before my first class today I decide that I just
need to have a new layout - so here we go. I know I haven't been posting much since school's started, I haven't known what to say. But part of it has been my own shame at not having a new layout up yet. So I shall try my best from now on!

So Orientation Week is all but over - and it has been amazing! Science at Waterloo has the most hilarious frosh, and I want to get involved next year; it's been so much fun. I've met so many people this week, my residence is gorgeous and comfortable and already feels like home. There's been dancing almost every night, and my feet and legs are killing me, but it's been so much fun. I'm *kind* of excited for classes to start, and I'm learning my way around campus. But I have this weekend to relax and take a break before everything gets hectic.

I am officially moved in! Woot Waterloo! I'm all unpacked and settled in and about to get some sleep; lots of stuff going on this week!

So I move in tomorrow - I wish I hadn't left half-everything to the last minute; I meant to make a new layout for Semblance, but that'll take me a couple hours in the least, and I need to wake up super early tomorrow morning :\ There never seems to be much time at all - I'm just slightly terrified... wish me good luck my dears, and yourselves! So I'm back from the East Coast finally, and pr.net had a server wipe >_< So everything needs to be reuploaded from scratch. Not exactly a fun time. I've still got a lot of work to do to get everything back up, and to pack - I move in on Monday!
