Last weekend before I got away to East Coast for a week! Went to Taste of the Danforth Friday night with Terence, Serena and Stephen; we split a bunch of different things, gyros and souvlaki and other miscellaneous meats on pitas - all mostly very good. Hilarious times with the honey balls and the dolmades. We picked up tonnes of free samples of drinks and gum and clodhoppers, and the guys got free razors. Left the Danforth at 10:00ish and crashed in my living room to play some Cranium, woot! Grace and Gwun showed up to join us and we played until three in the morning, and then went outside to watch meteors. Just our luck they were in the north, right above the street lights in the parking lot of Middlefield CI. We saw one, possibly two, while we were out there, for about 20 minutes. 40 an hour, my ass.
Yesterday I overslept until Stephen called me and then we had to haul our asses to Kitty's barbeque. But it was fun, there were so many people there and the weather was so gorgeous. We stayed at Milliken Park for a good couple of hours, had dinner at T&T (yeye food court XD), and wandered over to Sean's house for some more Cranium!
Going fishing today with Stephen, and then hopefully maybe a nap later in the day. Rar.

After that we got some pizza for dinner, and Stephen and I met up with one of his friends, and ended up going to IKEA to line up overnight to get free dressers, which they were handing out 100 of, Monday morning. I almost didn't go because I was caught horribly unawares by some random flu Saterday, that had me aching and feverish all over. But I felt better enough Sunday morning that I couldn't pass up camping out at IKEA. We ended up playing cards and Scrabble, which degraded into dirty word Scrabble by about 1:00. They did bring us out cookies and coffee/tea/water once in a while though, and let us use the IKEA washrooms every half hour or so. The only downside was that my sleeping bags were way too thin to even think about falling asleep on the floor. But it was good times, pretty hilarious, and I've got pictures of dirty Scrabble on top of it all - bottom to top, chronologically.

Can you imagine it's August already? There's only a month left of summer vacation, and then University :\ I'm still angry about that Friday night lab I'm stuck with, but I'm still trying to get it changed. There's still so much I want to get done this summer >_<
