Weekend recap:
- stayed home Friday to sleep off the sickness
- felt much better by the time I went to see the doctor
- wrote all my LEAD journals
- saw Sahara (much better than I had expected it to be - one of those good fun summer blockbusters)

Am planning on doing all work Sunday.

Tired. Stressed. Not starting work early = massive work load coming up in near future. How is it that even though I procastinate less than most people I know, I'm also more stressed than most people I know?

I definitely spent the last hour and a half renaming my PSP brushes... all 850 of them. *sweatdrop* Can you tell I don't want to study Chem/Law/French?

Tomorrow, I'll commit myself to doing Yearbook, since deadline's in a week and we definitely don't have 48 pages ready. But tonight, I'm not going to do anything at all. *is sullen*

(Finally, Blogger's working lol)

Well, I definitely fell asleep at 9 o'clock last night, despite trying to study for that gdm French test that I am terrified, and yet oddly do not care about. My body's starting to be less sore, my shoulders don't hurt as much and my legs never hurt (which I am mightily suprised, seeing as I walked as much as I did), but I'm still bone tired. I can't wait for the weekend - I will definitely be sleeping a lot. But Bark Lake was amazing - like Alisha said, probably one of the best experiences of my life. I did so many things that I didn't think I could physically do, and you feel like you can do anything after it all. There was a lot of pain involved, but my team was amazing and we supported each other so much, I'm just so proud of everyone. And, wow, high ropes - I want to do those again. Such an adrenaline rush, jumping off a 40 foot pole. And the great thing about us is that we already trusted one another so much, there wasn't really that kind of fear, that we wouldn't be safe. It was just so amazing, and I wouldn't give any of it up, even the cuts and bruises, for anything.

Sh~it. Well, I said to Joyce, who has missed her bus for the last two days because of oversleeping, "I'll call you to wake you up." So, she gives me her cellphone number, and this morning promptly at 7 I call her.

Two rings, man answers: "Hello?"
Me, trying to figure out if this is her father (without an asian accent): "Hello, may I please speak to Joyce?"
Man, sounds young and very tired: "You've got the wrong number."
Me: *shit shit shit* "Sorry!" *pulls phone away from ear, debates whether or not to say goodbye, puts phone back to ear, hears no one, hangs up*

Gaarrrgg Joyce either gave me the wrong number *stab stab stab* or I punched it in wrong, but I sure am not going to try that number again in the next 12 hours or so, in case I get the guy again. -_-;;

Did my fetal pig dissection today, after sitting in on Iris's dissection. We went really fast lol but we still didn't get to see everything - we just didn't have time. I'm glad I sat in on the other dissection, but I still went online and checked out a couple dissection sites too, just because I'm kind of worried about the bellringer. I have trouble with the reproductive and excretory systems, just because we haven't learned them yet I guess. And i'm still not sure where the pharynx and nasopharynx are. But these are really good sites for online demonstrations of fetal pig dissections, if you'd like to check them out:

Virtual Pig Dissection - I like this one because it's in Flash XD
Fetal Pig - also good pictures
Dissection Of A Fetal Pig - lots of text... I didn't really read through it

Oh, and I'm confused about the lobes of the lung. I thought there were three and four, through both of my dissections, but Ms. Bulmer said it was two and three. But then I looked it up, and the websites say three and four, or three on one side, three to four on the other, or other variations like so. If she asks on the bellringer, wth am I supposed to answer?

Oh man so tired I don't really know why. And I drank a good 4 cups of tea @ dinner tonight too... must be like coffee, it doesn't really stimulate me. Was downtown a good part of this weekend, it was such nice weather. Stephen and I went for lunch on Bloor (sushi) - there are so many neat little restaurants all along the street; it was nice ^_^ Law test tomorrow, I forgot my textbook @ residence, that was why I had to go down today -_-;; S'okay though, got a good amount of studying done today. Bio though, Tuesday, guh. :S But yeah, I need some sleep, seeing as I was up til 1.30 last night doing databasing x_x

An old man was walking on a sprawling beach at dawn when he noticed a young woman who was picking up starfish and flinging them into the water.

Approaching her, he asked her why she was doing this. She answered that the starfish would die if they remained on the sand in the shining sun. "But the beach goes on for miles and miles and starfish are inumerable", retorted the old man. "How can your effort make a difference to them?"

The young woman looked at the starfish she was holding, then threw it into the safety of the ocean. "It makes all the difference to this one", she said.

Call me a geek, but I want one of these. A yearbook rep that came to talk to us brought one in with him to demonstrate, and dude, I did not know something like this existed, but I have definitely wanted to do what it does. Pull colours out of everyday objects so that I could use them in graphics. So cool.

Math test today *dies* Still hate radians. Have funky new way to remember my special angles though... whether or not I'll actually use it is another story. The old way of memorizing is still burned into my head haha. So tired >_< bp208 entry is killing me... Yearbook is killing me... I haven't touched my Law summative since I started reading my book. I really don't want to pick it back up... garrrrg.

Wheee Wake-A-Thon pictures up ^_^ (not the full set of pictures I took, but a good sampling of 'em - including what I like to call the teacher molestation picture) Despite my very tired and groggy post below, I had *so* much fun ^_^ I can't wait to see pictures of my face covered in pudding haha, and some of the dance and band performance pics. Wake-A-Thon is by far one of MDHS's best events!

So. Just came back from seeing Sin City. I think Danny was right in wondering why I wanted to see it - I definitely thought it would be ... very different. Much more Hollywood, much less gore, blood, guts and other disgusting things. And here I though the 18A was because of the sex. *sweatdrop* Not to say it wasn't a good movie, it was artistically and creatively excellent, everybody was beautiful, just as I thought they'd be, but the bad guys were also so fucking scary, and the good guys just didn't catch a break. I don't deal well with high squick factor, and Sin City had squick in aces. Guh.
