What a tale my thoughts would tell
Just like an old time movie
'Bout a ghost from a wishing well
In a castle dark or a fortress strong
With chains upon my feet
You know that ghost is me
I don't know where we went wrong
But the feeling's gone and I just can't get it back
If you could read my mind, yeah
If you could read your mind love
What a tale my thoughts would tell
Just like a paperback novel
The kind that drugstores sell
When you reach the part where the heartache comes
The hero would be you
Heroes often fail
Never thought I could feel this way
And I've got to say that I just don't get it
I don't know where we went wrong
But the feeling's gone and I just can't get it back
If you could read my mind
If you could
If you could
If you could read my mind (repeat)
If you could read my mind love
What a tale my thoughts would tell

If you could read my mind love
What a tale my thoughts would tell

[edit:6.14] and in opposition (or perhaps relation) to love:
The lines will be recognisable, because I'm a sucker for what I'm familiar with.
Now on to studying for Math.

My dad and I were driving down 9th line last night at 10.30ish, and we weren't even going fast, but somehow, the car manages to drift itself into a ditch filled with snow, just before Church St. Excellent. We call road side assistance, but the tow truck could take up to 3 hours to get out here. And, it would've sucked if we had been forced to wait that 3 hours, but a guy in a big 'ol Jeep happened to come along with a tow rope! Within less than half an hour probably, we were outta the damn ditch no worse for wear. I'm really glad he did pass by when he did - not to say that I didn't appreciate the many other cars that stopped on their way to ask if we were okay, because there were a lot. Some days you think that the entire human race is preoccupied with themselves, and some days they show you different.

And for some random lyrics posting; I love the chorus melody of the first song - not such a fan of the melody of the second but I like the words. :)
Weren't you the one who said that you don't want me anymore
And how you need your space and give the keys back to your door
And how I cry and try and try to make you stay with me
But still you said the love was gone and that I had to leave
Now you
Talking about a family
Now you
Saying I complete your dream
Now you
Saying I'm your everything
Your confusing me, what your saying to me
Don't play with me, don't play with me cause
What goes around comes around
What goes up must come down
Now who's crying, desiring to come back to me
What goes around comes around
What goes up must come down
Now who's crying, desiring to come back to me
I remember when I was sitting home alone
Waiting for you
To 3 o'clock in the morn'
And when you came home you'd always had some sorry excuse
And explaining to me like I was some kind of a fool
I sacrifice the things I want just to do things for you
But when it's time to do for me
You never come through
Now you
Wanna be a part of me
Now you
Have so much to say to me
Now you
Wanna make time for me
What you doing to me, your confusing me
Don't play with me, don't play with me cause
What goes around comes around
What goes up must come down
Now who's crying, desiring to come back to me
What goes around comes around
What goes up must come down
Now who's crying, desiring to come back to me
I remember when I was sitting home alone
Waiting for you
To 3 o'clock in the morn'
Night after night knowing something's going on
What's that number for b go-a-go-a-gone
Lord knows it wasn't easy believe me
Never thought you'd be the one that would deceive me
And never do what your suppose to do
No need to punch me boo cause I won't play you cause
What goes around comes around
What goes up must come down
Now who's crying, desiring to come back to me
What goes around comes around (yeah)
What goes up must come down
Gotta stop trying to come back to me
What goes around comes around
What goes up must come down
It's called Karma, baby
And it goes around
What goes around comes around
What goes up must come down
Now who's crying, desiring to come back to me .. karma . alicia keys
Girl, I'm in love with you
But this ain't the honeymoon
We're past the infatuation phase
We're right in the thick of love
At times we get sick of love
It seems like we argue every day
I know I misbehaved
And you made your mistakes
And we've both still got room left to grow
And though love sometimes hurts
I still put you first
And we'll make this thing work
But I think we should take it slow
We're just ordinary people
We don't know which way to go
Cause we're ordinary people
Maybe we should take it slow
Take it slow, oh oh, this time we'll take it slow
Take it slow, oh oh, this time we'll take it slow
This ain't a movie, no
No fairytale conclusion y'all
It gets more confusing every day
Sometimes it's Heaven sent
Then we head back to Hell again
We kiss, then we make up on the way
I hang up, you call
We rise and we fall
And we feel like just walking away
As our love advances
We take second chances
Though it's not a fantasy
I still want you to stay
We're just ordinary people
We don't know which way to go
Cause we're ordinary people
Maybe we should take it slow
Take it slow, oh oh, this time we'll take it slow
Take it slow, oh oh, this time we'll take it slow
Maybe we'll live and learn
Maybe we'll crash and burn
Maybe you'll stay
Maybe you''ll leave
Maybe you'll return
Maybe you'll never find
Maybe we won't survive
Maybe we'll grow
We'll never know
Baby, you and I
We're just ordinary people .. ordinary people . john legend

Because you know, absolutely everything is the responsibility and fault of the woman, whether she gets accidentally pregnant or accidentally loses the child. This is absolutely ridiculous. And if you did not intend on going to the link and reading the article, maybe a little explaination will entice you.
The state of Virginia would like to propose a bill that would make all women who suffer a 'fetal death' outside the supervision of a doctor, that is, a home miscarriage, to report the offence to a law-enforcement agency within 12 hours. Which is to say that if you are so unlucky as to lose your unborn child by accident, not only do you have to suffer that grief, you also have to call the police to your home, and answer several personal questions that invade your privacy and demoralize you further - such as the sex of the fetus, the weight (would you like to go weigh the bloody results of the miscarriage on some sort of scale?), the time of death (some fetuses fail within the first 2 weeks of impregnation - before you even know you're pregnant), and congenital malformations (is there anything wrong with the bloody fetus you've just miscarriaged?). How disgusting. I would be shocked and dismayed if this bill were to be passed, but it could happen, if the public isn't made aware of what this bill is proposing. I know we don't live in Virginia, or the States for that matter, but it still matters, because women's rights are being trashed upon, and the least we can do is learn about it.
