Well, just finished up re-reading
An Exchange Of Hostages by Susan R. Matthews; great book, I really wish I could read the sequel [
Prisoner Of Conscience], except that I've yet to be able to find a copy of it anywhere. Perhaps after my birthday I'll see if I can order it online. Also, I went and got my hair cut today. Nothing major, just a couple inches off the bottom, still a nice length to it all. I can tie it, but it looks rather ridiculous in a butterfly clip, and I can't bun it without great effort, but no matter. I'm fairly pleased with the results.

have 6, MSN kept giving me messages, prompting me to install the new version. I finally gave in, and installed it *again*. -_-;; And it then proceeded to practically lock me out of Messenger, taking at least half a dozen attempts to sign in. Arg.
In other news, I think I need a birthday wallpaper. I have two winter ones and a Halloween one, as well as a couple that'll do for the other seasons, but nothing terribly birthday-like.

Well, went and read HP 5 again, not so upset about the death this time around. I still didn't like Harry's character, at least not in the beginning; too much teenage angst. Ginny's still got her personality, which I enjoyed, and I still think George and Fred were uneccessarily mean to Ron. But still, second time around, the book's not bad, overall. Just upsetting; it
is so much darker than the others, and it's hard to take that in. The ending is so much more dreary than the first three at least. We had a touch of that dreariness in the fourth book, after Cedric died, but the fifth book's magnified that. Nonetheless, I won't stop reading the books; I can't, for the hope that maybe Sirius will come back. This time 'round, I really noticed how upset Lupin was that Sirius was gone,
'every word seemed to cause him pain', or something to the like. They really are the canonist canon. ^_^;; And now, there are only four more days til my birthday! I'm excited. ^_^

Just saw A Knight's Tale
, brilliant movie, lots of fun. A tad unrealistic, horribly historically incorrect, but a thrill anyways. Lots of fun. Totally predicted the Prince Edward bit, and Chaucer, well, he was so incredibly gay. ^_^
Well then. Just finished
From Hell. A good movie in all; a thriller, not a horror movie. Scary yes, but it's mostly gore that's the worst of it. The ending's, that, an ending. All the loose ends are tied. And Johnny Depp is gorgeous in it, lovely man. Very sexy. All the same, I don't suggest watching it so late at night. Otherwise, it's a pretty good movie.
I'm off to see
Tomb Raider II: Cradle Of Life tomorrow. Tons of movie fun. ^_^

Ah, have finally coloured another one of my
portfolio pics [the result of three days of provincial math testing and a pretty white manilla folder that all our booklets came in]; I actually like this one a lot, but not just presented, I liked the image to begin with. I especially liked the hair, which I worked pretty hard at, to give it texture/depth, etc. All of which, you can't really see in the image, which is why I have
this enlargement, which shows it a bit better. I don't know how to use jpgs; if I did, I would, because they allow for more colours, but whenever I try to save layered images, or merged images as a jpg, the compression kills the picture. I think jpg images are a photoshop thing. :P Or else I'm a right failure. Bah. Going over to Katie's today. Should be some fun.
